Cow Tipping believes in the unique power of youth to bring about generational change. We seek out talented college-aged leaders both to leverage your vision and social commitment and to provide new experience and training that will inform a life’s work in any number of fields. We run three semesters of creative writing classes yearly (fall, spring, summer) and, in general, hire on this timetable. Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds are expressly encouraged to apply.
Teach
Are you a literary, justice-oriented, adaptable and driven college student in the Twin Cities? Consider teaching with Cow Tipping Press! We provide structured yet flexible curriculum and support to lead your own writing class of trailblazing adults with developmental disabilities and help publish their work. 100% of teacher alums report they have fun on the job. Classes are held in a variety of Twin Cities locations (travel reimbursement available) and the average time commitment is six hours per week for six weeks. A stipend is offered for this position. Contact us to learn more. We’re currently hiring for our spring semester. Apply below!
Volunteer or Intern
Cow Tipping Press also works with interns and volunteers. Usually, volunteer positions helping to facilitate our classes are for candidates who haven’t worked with Cow Tipping before, while interning is an extension of prior teaching experience. We’re open to proposals, however! Especially if you have specific vision or skills in visual arts, event planning, or communications.
Speaking Engagements
Liven up your event or space by sponsoring a Cow Tipping book release, or bring our authors into your classroom or workplace to facilitate a one-of-a-kind workshop on inclusion, empathy, and divergent thinking.
