People may think it’s weird to have a cat with no name.
My cat has no name.
– Jacob DeVetter
Tell Me More About Birds
In one of Cow Tipping’s sparest editions yet, subversion is still alive and kicking. From the backwards jeans in “The Backwards Jeans” to the frank hatred of Christmas in “Tony Who Wears an Ugly Sweatshirt,” the disability narrative continues to be tipped on its head. Acts of transformative magic appear on nearly every page, a fitting motif for the Cow Tipping reader. To experience the world through the eyes of these writers, after all, can be likened “to walk[ing] for the first time and being not in a cast.”
